It's Motivation Monday!!!

The last summer holiday Labor Day is here.

Squirrels

Squirrels

It got me to thinking about all the squirrels running around stocking up for winter.

The squirrels are busy gather leaves, twigs and leaves for their nest.

They streets are filled with nuts that have fallen from the trees from squirrels frantically trying to get all the

can carry.

We should be like the squirrels trying to save for the days ahead.

There are surveys out that say nearly half of Americans don't have $500 in there savings account.

With many people living pay check to pay check.

It may seem impossible to save money if you are living pay check to pay check.

However,  you can start with as little as $5 per pay check.

Open an account at a credit union or back that is not convenient to get out your money.

Don't request a debt or ATM card so you have to go in to the bank to make a withdrawal.

With your direct deposit for your paycheck you can add a second account to split your deposit.

Clarify the amount to get started saving like the squirrels.

Another thing to do to get started saving like the squirrels is to start putting all your change in a jar.

You will be surprised how quickly the savings add up.

The squirrel will make multiple trips to get what he needs.

We need to be like the squirrels and find multiple ways to save money.

Stop all your automatic payments from coming out your account that you can pay on your own.

This could save you from having overdrafts each month.

Close the gym membership that you haven't used in months.

Check your cell phone provider for a plan that better fits your needs.

Look at your cable or satellite bill for ways to save on it.

These are just a few ways to save like the squirrels.

Are you willing to be like the squirrels????
